Jeszack Gammon, also known by his stage name Marinate, is a Brooklyn-native Jamaican artist. At the age of 11, he began to explore music as a platform for self-reflection and expression. Marinate has developed his sound and lyrical style under the influence of artists like Bob Marley, Boogie, and KGenuis. His latest project, Black Oiler, explores, protects and aims to redefine the black body while celebrating the endurance and joy of a POC (Person of color.)
